Notes At times, the leaves are used as a condiment. They are also added in soups and vegetables (goes well with courgettes and mushrooms). It is a key ingredient of ‘bouquet garni’. This herb is great when used fresh, and goes well in many typical southern Italy pasta sauces which often feature peppers and eggplants.
