Disease appears as small straw to brown coloured spots with grey centre on the leaves, spots may coalesce causing defoliation. Later the spots increase in number and size and cover the entire lamina and the leaves start dropping off. Elongated dark brown spotsare produced on the stem. The capsules are also affected.
Seed treatment with two foliar sprays of Carbendazim 50WP (0.2%) + Mancozeb (0.1%) can manage the disease.
